Kyoung-Hi Dickson, MA, LMFT
Kyoung-Hi has worked at The Family Therapy Center since 2009. She received her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Joseph College (West Hartford, CT) and was the recipient of Mary Kay Britton Award for Excellence in her graduating class. As a therapist she has worked at The Franciscan Life Center in Meriden and also at the Connecticut Valley Hospital (Addiction Services Division) in Middletown treating individuals, couples and families. Kyoung-Hi has also worked for The Cove, a support organization for grieving children and their families. Kyoung-Hi is a Korean American living in West Harford with her husband and their four children, ages 8 to 18, and has first hand experience living in different cultures. Kyoung-Hi uses gentle and strength based approaches such as solution-focused and narrative along with emotion-focused methods which are respectful of her clients.
